ABC at EURONAVAL 2026: Powering High-Intensity Operations
26 Oct 2026
ABC will be exhibiting at EURONAVAL 2026, taking place from 3 to 6 November at Paris Nord Villepinte. As the global naval defence and maritime security community comes together in Paris, ABC will showcase its propulsion and power generation solutions for mission-critical naval applications.
Under the theme “Towards high intensity”, EURONAVAL 2026 puts the demands of today's and tomorrow's naval operations firmly in focus. In challenging and high-intensity environments, propulsion and onboard power systems need to do what matters most: perform reliably when the mission depends on them.
Engineered for mission readiness
For naval forces, operational readiness depends on more than installed power. Propulsion and onboard power systems must remain available in demanding conditions, be maintainable throughout long service lives and deliver dependable performance whenever the mission requires it.
ABC has extensive experience in demanding and highly customised naval projects, including Mine Counter-Measure Vessels (MCMVs), Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) and other mission-critical platforms. Its engines combine robust performance with fuel efficiency, long maintenance intervals and straightforward maintenance.
For sensitive naval applications, ABC engines can be double elastically mounted and configured to minimise noise, vibration, magnetic and thermal signatures, with shock protection available for demanding operational environments.
European manufacturing. Greater supply-chain resilience.
For governments, shipyards and naval procurement organisations, the resilience of the industrial supply chain behind a propulsion system is increasingly important.
ABC combines its engineering expertise with a vertically integrated European value chain, manufacturing 85% of its engine components in-house, including key components such as turbochargers. The remaining parts are sourced from selected Western European suppliers. This approach gives ABC greater control over quality, lead times and the availability of OEM spare parts.
NATO-codified spare parts further support worldwide logistics and spare-parts management, while dedicated training and technical support help naval operators maintain their engines effectively throughout their operational life.
Power solutions for evolving naval requirements
ABC provides tailored solutions for main propulsion, engine-electric configurations and auxiliary power generation, supporting both newbuild and repowering projects. With an engine portfolio ranging from 600 kW to 10.5 MW per engine, ABC can address a broad spectrum of naval propulsion and onboard power requirements.
Its marine portfolio combines proven engine technology with increasing fuel flexibility. ABC engines can operate on conventional and alternative fuels, allowing shipbuilders, operators and public authorities to address today's operational requirements while retaining flexibility as future fuel strategies evolve.
A dependable European power partner
With more than 110 years of engine-building expertise, ABC combines European manufacturing, robust engine technology and worldwide support to serve naval and patrol vessels operating in demanding conditions.
At EURONAVAL 2026, discover how ABC's propulsion and power generation solutions bring together availability, maintainability, supply-chain resilience and long-term operational flexibility for the naval fleets of today and tomorrow.
