Amid great interest, Anglo Belgian Corporation took the opportunity at Europort in Rotterdam to present the first engine in the EVOLVE range: the 4-cylinder EL23.
This medium-speed, future-proof marine engine is designed to run on both liquid and gaseous fuels. Moreover, in time, the 4EL23 can easily be converted from liquid fuel operation to dual fuel or 100% gas operation!
This makes the 4EL23 engine a smart investment for every ship owner who wants to take on the challenges of uncertainty, both in terms of environmental legislation and availability of (future) fuels. With this flexible engine, possible later financial catastrophes due to changing (emissions) legislation or locally available fuel are avoided.
