ABC announces World Premiere at Europort

Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC) is delighted to announce its upcoming debut of a new member within the Evolve engine family at Europort, the biennial international maritime technology and shipbuilding event in Rotterdam. The unveiling of this cutting-edge engine is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7th, at 1:00 pm, right at the ABC stand in hall 1.
In November 2021, ABC introduced the first member of the innovative and future-proof Evolve engine family, the 4EL23, also at Europort. In September of the previous year, ABC showcased the Evolve 20EV23 at SMM Hamburg. These two engines define the Evolve engine series, with the 4EL23 serving as the entry-level model and the 20EV23 positioned as the pinnacle of the range.
The defining feature of the Evolve engine platform is its multi-fuel and future-proof design. The adaptable cylinder head design enables effortless transition from liquid to dual- or gaseous fuels, eliminating the need for a specific fuel commitment. This versatility offers our customers agility, flexibility, and readiness for various fuel scenarios.
On November 7th at 1 pm, ABC will, for the third consecutive year, present an engine from the Evolve series to the public at their stand in hall 1 (booth number 1201).
Leading up to Europort, ABC releases a teaser for this latest addition:
BeHydro
In addition to the new Evolve engine, ABC will also showcase a groundbreaking BeHydro 100% hydrogen engine. These innovative engines, designed for heavy-duty applications, provide 100% clean energy without emitting harmful emissions such as carbon (CO2), nitrogen (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), or particulate matter. BeHydro engines are currently available with power ratings ranging from 600 kW (815 HP) to 2.7 MW (3,670 HP), enabling our business partners to fully embrace the energy transition.
