Factory Trawler 'Centurión del Atlántico' Returns to Sea with ABC Engines

After 11 months of dedicated work and significant upgrades at Westcon Yards AS in Florø (Norway), this 38-year-old factory stern trawler is now equipped with state-of-the-art hybrid propulsion technology, featuring a powerful ABC 8DL36 main engine and an ABC 12DZC generating set. This will significantly reduce carbon emissions and fuel consumption with the efficient DL engine series. The engine package is delivered by our local agent Frydenbø Industry AS.

This 118-metre vessel has been delivered to Estremar and is now making its way to its base in Ushuaia, Argentina. We thank the owners for the confidence in ABC Engines.
