Cecon Vigor: powered by ABC engine technology

On Thursday 4 June, we had the pleasure of attending the christening ceremony of Cecon Vigor, the new cable lay support vessel delivered to Agalas and Eidesvik Offshore ASA, designed by NSK Ship Design and built at Sefine Shipyard.
Designed for cable installation, offshore wind operations, light construction, and subsea intervention work, Cecon Vigor represents a significant addition to Agalas’ modern offshore fleet.
The vessel features an advanced engine-electric propulsion system powered by four ABC 8DZ generating sets, delivering the reliability, efficiency, and flexibility required for demanding offshore operations.
