ABC at Europort: Discover the Highlights

10 nov 2025

ABC Engines made a strong impression at this year’s Europort exhibition, showcasing its latest innovations in efficient, multi-fuel engines for the maritime sector. The company presented the new Evolve 12EV23 “Alix”, which attracted significant attention, alongside its D36 engine series, dual-fuel methanol engines, and BeHydro dual-fuel and 100% hydrogen engines.

The Evolve 12EV23 “Alix” was a particular highlight of the exhibition. Each Evolve engine is named after a granddaughter of the Chairman of the family-owned Ogepar Group, Mr Claude Froidbise, and Alix herself attended the unveiling, witnessing “her” engine’s introduction.

In addition to the Evolve range, visitors could learn more about ABC’s broader portfolio. The D36 engine series delivers up to 10.5 MW per engine, the dual-fuel methanol engines reach up to 9.6 MW per engine, and the BeHydro dual-fuel and 100% hydrogen engines produce up to 2,670 kW per engine. These technologies, all available today, underscore ABC’s commitment to providing future-proof, multi-fuel solutions for the maritime industry.

ABC would like to thank the many visitors who stopped by the stand for their interest, as well as its colleagues at the ABC factory for their excellent teamwork and for producing such powerful and reliable engines.

A selection of photographs from ABC’s presence at Europort is now available, offering a closer look at the company’s innovations and exhibition highlights.
