10 abr 2026
Windcat Amsterdam, the second Commissioning Service Operations Vessel (CSOV) in Windcat’s Elevation Series, arrived in Amsterdam at the end of March as the first of its kind to enter European waters. Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC) proudly contributed to this state-of-the-art offshore vessel through the supply of three powerful and reliable medium-speed engines.
Following construction at Damen’s Shipyard in Vietnam, her arrival marks an important milestone for the offshore industry. At the heart of Windcat Amsterdam are one ABC 12-cylinder and two ABC 8-cylinder DZ engines, delivering the reliable and efficient performance required for demanding offshore service operations.
Designed as a floating base for construction, commissioning and maintenance activities, the vessel accommodates up to 120 personnel and combines operational capability with high onboard comfort for extended offshore deployments.
The vessel integrates hybrid and hydrogen-ready technologies, reflecting the industry’s transition towards lower emissions. ABC’s engines ensure optimal efficiency, reduced CO₂ emissions and dependable performance.
With Windcat Amsterdam, ABC continues to power next-generation offshore vessels.
We wish her and her crew fair winds and following seas.
