ABC presents technical innovations at CIMAC Congress 2025

27 may 2025

Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC) looks back on a successful participation at the CIMAC Congress 2025, held in Zürich, Switzerland. As a manufacturer of medium-speed engines for heavy-duty applications, ABC was proud to contribute to the global knowledge exchange by presenting two technical papers to combustion engine experts from around the world.

The first paper highlighted ABC’s latest progress in hybrid condition-based monitoring, combining physics-based models and machine learning to optimise engine maintenance, improve uptime, and reduce operational costs. The paper was presented by Rik De Graeve.

The second paper focused on field results from ultra-low emission vessels, showing that diesel engines equipped with advanced aftertreatment systems can meet – and even exceed – the strictest environmental standards. This paper was presented by Yannick Loulidi.

ABC is also pleased that the next CIMAC World Congress will be hosted by NMA Netherlands and Belgium in May 2028. We look forward to contributing again to the continued advancement of our industry.
