ABC Opens New Training Centre

ABC has opened a new training centre designed to support customers, agents and service partners worldwide. Located next to its production site in Ghent, the ABC Academy provides a focused environment for both theoretical and practical training, enabling participants to develop in-depth knowledge of ABC engine technology.
With a continuously growing installed base of engines, ABC has invested in a fully equipped training centre where participants gain a thorough understanding of engines running on (bio)diesel, HVO, dual-fuel methanol, dual-fuel hydrogen and 100% hydrogen solutions for heavy-duty applications. The Academy underlines ABC’s commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their installations.
Proper maintenance plays a key role in achieving optimal performance and reliability. Well-trained personnel work more efficiently, increase uptime and maximise the availability of installations. The service training programmes cover all essential aspects of the engine, ensuring that service engineers, operators and crew members are fully familiar with technical characteristics and operational requirements.
ABC offers a comprehensive range of training courses, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. These programmes are suitable for both experienced professionals and participants who are new to ABC engines. The courses are delivered by experienced technicians who share their expertise and practical insights.
In addition to standard training programmes, ABC also provides customised courses tailored to the specific needs of organisations and participants. This approach enables a more targeted learning experience and helps customers focus on the topics most relevant to their operations.
The ABC Academy is designed to support this flexible approach, with dedicated training areas and equipment for both in-depth classroom sessions and hands-on training. New fuels such as HVO, biodiesel, methanol and hydrogen are also covered.
Upon completion of a training programme, participants receive an official ABC certificate confirming their service competencies.
