Successful Open Day brought together technology, craftsmanship and passion

24 Juni 2026

On Sunday 21 June 2026, ABC opened its gates in Ghent for a highly successful Open Day. Under the theme “from metal to engine”, visitors were given a unique behind-the-scenes look at our world of heavy-duty engines. The sunny weather, strong turnout and enthusiasm of our employees made it a day to look back on with pride.

More than 2,000 visitors explored the production site and discovered how raw materials are progressively transformed into powerful engines that deliver reliability worldwide. From machining and precision engineering, through assembly and testing, to dispatch and service: every stage of the process showcased the craftsmanship of our ABC Power People. Their knowledge, commitment and passion form the foundation of engines that deliver dependable energy on land and at sea.

The historic engine zone attracted significant interest. The carefully curated collection illustrated a century of engine development and gave visitors the opportunity to experience ABC’s rich history and technological evolution. For engineering enthusiasts and heritage lovers, this was a real highlight of the visit.

Alongside the Open Day, the Rolling Connection car show also took place. With an impressive line-up of unique tuned cars and motorcycles, this event within the event added extra atmosphere to the site. The shared passion for engineering created a natural connection between both worlds.

We would like to thank all visitors, partners and ABC Power People who made this edition an unforgettable success.
